Camp Director
Dana Kovich
 Dana Kovich is the President and founder of Swish Camps and the Camp
Director since 1998. Dana has many years of experience as Camp
Director having directed camps for Hall of Fame Head Coach C. Vivian Stringer at Rutgers
University in Piscataway, New Jersey. In addition she has directed
the Sheryl Swoopes Basketball Camps, Ticha
Penicheiro Basketball Camps, Sue Bird Basketball Camp and Sue Wicks
Camps.
Dana is a member of the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaching Association)
and participates in nationwide coaching clinics. Her
outstanding scholastic playing career at MacArthur High School in
Irving, Texas instilled in her a passion for the game. She was recruited on
the collegiate level and accepted a full scholarship to Grayson College
in Grayson, Texas. Her coaching career began at Roselle
Catholic High School in Roselle, New Jersey as Assistant Head Coach and
Junior Varsity Coach where she led her team to their first-ever Finals
Appearance in the County
Championship Game. Her teams have been recognized for their tenacious defense.
Dana has beens recently appointed as Head Women's Basketball Coach
at Ocean
County Community College in Toms River, New Jersey.
Dana brings a high level of enthusiasm and energy to camp. Her
camps are known for quality instruction and great organization.
Dana's dream is to provide girls the opportunity to receive excellent
training in basketball.
